Kimberly Reid

Transportation Chapter Representative

Kimberly Reid is honored to serve ACE-AFSCME Local 2250 for a 2nd term as your Executive Board member for Transportation.

Kimberly is a native Prince Georgian-born in Greenbelt, raised in Bowie and an alumni of Bowie High School.

Kimberly has an extensive background in public service. She currently works for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) as a School Bus Driver for the past seven years. Prior to PGCPS, Kimberly worked for Montgomery County Ride-On as a Bus Operator. 

In addition to serving as the Executive Board member for Transportation, Kimberly also serves as a Lead Stewart for Fairmont Bus lot. As a graduate of the Fall 2019 Transportation Academy, Kimberly learned her “Top Five Strengths” are: Belief, Developer, Adaptability, Deliberative and Relator. As an Executive Board member, these strengths are a great asset to the local.

Kimberly values relationships as she continuously builds strong and lasting relationships within her community. She is also a strategic thinker as she constantly absorbs and analyzes information in order to make decisions that are in the best interest of the local. She truly lives by her motto, “Knowledge is Power”

 It is Kimberly’s goal to continue to serve YOU, the members of Local 2250 with transparency and integrity. She will continue to strive to hold PGCPS accountable for maintaining a safe and effective workplace for ALL chapters.  

Kimberly is married with six beautiful children and two amazing grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys drag racing.
